Cicely
Gilman is a silk artist that has been working in that medium for more
than 20 years.
She received her BA in
Fashion and Textiles, from St. Martin’s College
of Art, in London, England in 1979. She was born in
Boulder, Colorado, has lived in Vienna, Austria, London,
England, and New York City, before moving to Los Angeles.
She is currently represented by Sue Lapin Museums, where
she creates silk scarves for museum shops all over the
USA. She also participates in art shows.
